Central to London Grove’s Quaker spirituality is the unprogrammed, silent meeting for worship, where Friends join in “expectant waiting” to listen for messages from God.  Worship is conducted without the assistance of paid clergy, and any Friend may minister to those gathered by speaking a message that comes to them from the Spirit.  Some meetings for worship include many verbal messages, whereas others are mostly silent.  In either case, Friends are nourished as they gather together in the presence of the Spirit.
